$50 Looking for a Great Cause

Last December I wrote, Charitable Giving is a Habit – Pass it On! In that post I share my tips and reasons for giving.

I am always looking for great causes to support through my time, talent (for example, blog post and podcast mentions), and treasure. I have at least $50 that I want to contribute to an organization suggested by an Everyday EMS Tips reader before the end of the year. This is also an opportunity for you to promote and link to causes you care about.

Invitation to Share
In the comments area of the post describe an organization I should consider for a contribution. Please include a link to their website which will make it easy for me and others to find them. Plus everyone likes inbound links.

A few criteria.
1. The organization needs to be a US based 501c3
2. I prefer my donations to go the actual mission of the organization not administrative overhead
3. I am not interested in political action committees

I am looking forward to your suggestions and will let you know which organization I choose.
