Video: 12 Lead ECG with aVL Abnormality

In this video, part of Dr. Amal Mattu’s 12 Lead ECG case of the week, a patient case is presented. The patient was complaining of chest pain, but the 12 Lead ECG labeled the strip no abnormalities. The paramedic persisted with assessment because of aVL abnormalities. In the video Dr. Mattu discusses the role of aVL abnormalities as an early marker of STEMI. He concludes the case presentation with two important take home points:
