EMS World Expo 2016 Day 3 Coverage

On the final morning of EMS World Expo 2016 in New Orleans I covered two more sessions for the EMS1 special coverage.

How body-worn cameras improve EMS documentation

Why chronic pain is a neurodegenerative disease

My final hours at EMS World Expo were spent exploring the exhibit hall, talking to members of the EMS1 Advisory Board, visiting vendors and learning more about the important issues and topics facing EMS professionals.

In 2015 there was only a hint of ultrasound at EMS World. At EMS World Expo 2016 ultrasound was the dominant theme. Body-worn cameras for EMS, much like tourniquets, body armor, and ultrasound have the chance to be the dominant education and product at EMS World Expo 2017 or 2018.
