Book Reviews, Recommendations, and Excerpts

Recent Amazon Reviews and Recommendations

I posted a review of Mr. Wilson Makes It Home,  a new book by Michael Morse. This is a great book from the author of Responding and Rescuing Providence.  I hope you will check it out.

The The Gemini Effect by Chuck Grossart was a recent Kindle First book, which means as a Kindle owner and Prime subscriber I was able to read it for free. This book was a great reminder to me of the amazing difficulty (and courage) to write and publish. Congratulations to Mr. Grossart. This book was not a good match to my interests. Though I highly recommend an Amazon Prime subscription.

Book Excerpt – Medical Math Simplified

An excerpt of Med Math Simplified: Dosing Math Tricks for students, nurses, and paramedics by Jamie Davis, the podmedic is available on EMS1. For $2.99 this is a highly recommended purchase for anyone struggling or striving to improve with medical math.

Recent Releases for EMTs and Paramedics

Emergency Laughter: Stories of Humor Inside  Ambulances and Operating  Rooms is the newest release from Mike Cyra. Four years ago today I posted an interview with Mike about his first book on the Medical Author Chat.

Paramedic, educator, and podcast host Rob Theriault published his highly regarded and used Cardiac Dysrhythmia Interpretation workbook
