Office Hours: Live Call-In for EMS Students and Professionals

In episode 2 of EMS Office Hours Jim Hoffman and I talk about:

EMS Boot Camp – we just completed our newest session on IV insertion tips and tricks right before this call in. You can find the recording of that session and associated premium items as well as all of our other sessions at EMSBootCamp.com.

We also discussed several of the EMS Alphabet courses like ACLS and PALS. I am in the midst of taking ITLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and GEMS in a 4 week stretch. I also have a STEMI alert training in that same time.

Jim and I explored some of the difficulties of achieving CEU and mandatory training while meeting other responsibilities.

A few other topics included Medical Author ChatThe Chronicles of EMS, the Louisiana EMS conference, and Greg’s upcoming conference appearances.

Morgan Lawrence called in to the live show and spoke a bit about his book The Streets Ran Red.

As you can see this was a full 30 minutes. Take a listen and leave your comments below on what you thought about the show. Let me and Jim know if you think this is something we should continue doing in 2010.
