Medical Math Made Easy: Premium Online Education from

” Medical Math – Get it Right Every Time “

This session on Medical Math, i.e. Drug Calculations by Paramedic Educator Buck Feris is available in the Premium Session archives. Buck has years of experience helping students who struggle with drug calculations. Several years ago he did some┬áresearch on the origins of the drug calculation formula and found that it was based on a very simple concept in chemistry called “dimensional analysis.” By teaching the mechanics of dimensional analysis to students Buck has been able to teach them to go beyond the simple memorization of a formula.

Feedback from students that have already taken EMS Boot Camp Medical Math:

It will help me tremendously in figuring dosages on the fly. I also precept Paramedic students and do study sessions for them. This is great information to help them grasp drug calculations.

I really enjoyed the presentation. I found it very relative to our everyday job and very informative.

I am a paramedic student and currently an EMT I. It will help me remember a lot easier method than the methods I was told of before.

It was a good presentation and the speaker was really down to earth and the way he explained it all was very helpful. Very good and easy to understand.

It made common sense, it was like being in a real classroom.

Excellent!!! Great session. I’ll be back for more.

Great. Very calm and relaxed.
