Amazon is offering employees up to $5,000 to quit their job. (read article)
I asked recipients of the Everyday EMS Tips enewsletter:
“If your employer offered employees $1,000 per year of service up to $5,000 to quit, how many people do you think would accept the offer? Would you?”
One sharp minded reader replied, “What if other employees in the organization offer to chip in extra to further encourage someone to quit?”
Instead of a “KickStarter” we could call it “QuitStarter” a group mechanism for employees to contribute to the parachute to throw someone off the plane.
How much would you be willing to contribute out of your paycheck to help the lowest performers in your organization find a new place to ply their talents?
