The scholarships will be awarded for the 2019-2020 academic year, and are available to eligible candidates who have demonstrated academic merit, community leadership and extracurricular achievements. Since 2006, FRCF has awarded more than $780,000 through 320 college scholarships and emergency grants to first responder families and departments across 37 states.

Qualified candidates can learn more and apply at www.firstresponderkids.org/scholarships. Scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and the annual deadline to apply is July 1.

The R. Bruce Graham Scholarship, sponsored by Beyond Lucid Technologies. The scholarship provides a complimentary pass to the 2019 International Association of EMS Chief’s Annual Leadership Summit. To apply for the scholarship, you must submit an essay of no more than 750 words discussing your vision of the future of EMS. The submission deadline is September 1, 2019 and the essay should be mailed to Peter.Dworsky@IAEMSC.org. All submissions will be reviewed, and the recipient will be selected by the conference committee. This scholarship is not limited to Chief Officers.
