In late April I will be co-presenting “Distraction is Deadly: driving, patient care, and education” At the 3rd Annual Minnesota Ambulance Association Teaching and Learning Conference.
As you can see from this session announcement I will be realizing a career long dream of co-presenting with a gray squirrel. This squirrel, one of many that lurks around the bird feeders, around my office windows has been paying close attention to my work projects recently. As he grew interested I began to share more and more information with him. As a squirrel he has taught me a lot about the distraction, as well as determination, perseverance, and creative problem solving. I will be doing most of the talking but if you listen closely buddy the squirrel will give some real life examples about distraction.
