- Launched the Medical Author Chat podcast, now hosted on the EMS Blogs Network
- Co-authored a series of continuing education articles for EMS World Magazine with Kevin Collopy and Michael Fraley
- Presented at the Arrowhead EMS Conference, Wisconsin Technical College Instructor/Coordinator Conference, Southeast Alaska EMS Symposium, California EMS Administrators Conference, Louisiana EMT Conference, NAEMSE Symposium, EMS World Expo, and Toronto Emergency Managers Symposium
- Recorded dozens of new episodes of the EMSEduCast – the podcast by and for EMS Educators
- Published an ebook of EMS MCI Response Tips and Resources
- Ran, walked, and biked lots of miles
