Enough of the stalling, waiting and inaction. Now is the time for the Senate and House to reauthorize the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act.

EMS, fire and police have a tremendous supporter in Jon Stewart, former host of the Daily Show. I am hard-pressed to think of any actor/celebrity that has done more to advocate for emergency responders. He has a pulpit, stature or podium that attracts national news media attention.
(Yes, Randolph Mantooth from Emergency! is a lifelong EMS and fire advocate, but Stewart is orders of magnitude higher in current popular culture. It’s great to have them both advocating for emergency responders.)

Good morning @SenateMajLdr @SpeakerRyan fund #ZadrogaAct permanently. #FirstResponders need your support. Don't be #WorstResponders
