Video: Impact of Rising Fuel Prices on EMS

Interesting video about Bell Ambulance in Milwaukee and the impact of rising fuel prices on their operations.

Disclosure: I worked at Bell Ambulance PRN for about a year. Bell is the largest EMS provider in Wisconsin and does 911 BLS response and ALS inter-facility transfers. I really enjoyed my experience. Most shifts we ran calls non-stop. I also got to do event standby at some cool locations like Miller Park. I live about 2.5 hours from Milwaukee. A few years ago when gas prices went above $4 per gallon the insanity of both the travel time and cost made me give up the position.
