Many months ago I heard an EMS medical director on a COVID webinar say, “You’ll either get vaccinated or you’ll get COVID.” To me, getting COVID and hoping for the best is a big gamble with bad odds.
A couple of days after an LAFD captain self-recorded a video about the “tyranny” of a vaccine mandate, the Daily News reported a jump in cases in LAPD and LAFD personnel.
I can’t presume to know what’s in the heart of vaccine resisters, but each preventable firefighter, paramedic and cop COVID-19 death is heartbreaking to me. Read more on EMS1.
