Skating on Thin Ice without the Proper PPE

I am sure Bob is a great instructor and has extricated himself from the cold water and back onto the ice dozens of times.

I have heard rave reviews about the quality of his ice rescue training programs.

But when standing next to an ice hole I sure would like to see Bob wearing a survival suit or personal flotation device.

I am also open to the possibility he has something on under his parka or some sort of CO2 canister inflated device draped over his shoulders.
