Posts Outside the Service Area: 2nd December Edition

As soon as I posted the last “Posts Outside the Service Area” I found a bunch of other websites and posts I wanted to share.

The topic for the latest edition of the Handover Blog Carnival was Burn Out. Sixteen bloggers contributed to this month’s edition. Thanks to the Rescue Monkey for hosting.

The Tactical Pants Blog posted 8 Tactical Pants Stocking Stuffers. I am not sure I need a night vision monocular but it would be cool to have. Who doesn’t want to have a monocular?

The EMS_Geek wrote a terrific post about the importance of EMS professionals staying fit to perform their jobs. Sometimes I feel like a lone voice in the wilderness talking about health and wellness. I am glad to have the EMS_Geek writing about this important topic as well.

An article I wrote for EMS Week 2010, Use Social Media Tools to Celebrate EMS Week , is now available on the ACEP website.

For the educators. Make your own crossword puzzles with EclipseCrossword.

Finally during Episode 83 of the EMSEduCast podcast we learned about the amazing Field Operations Day at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. This is an elaborate, mentored clinical simulation for EMS students.
