EMS Boot Camp 1/11 – IV Complications and Top Tips (#31daysofCE)

Tomorrow, January 11 at 1100 EST Jim Hoffman the EMS Professional will present an EMS Boot Camp session on IV complications and his top tricks for gaining IV access. I have had a chance to review Jim’s slides and I am confident students, new professionals, and even experienced paramedics will learn a few things in the free live presentation.

All EMSBootCamp.com sessions are presented live using GoToWebinar. During the session participants can ask questions and interact with the presenter. Some of the things Jim will cover:

  • Discover the advanced life support and IV relationship
  • The anatomy of a start kit
  • How to choose a puncture site in under 30 seconds
  • Why proper A&P knowledge will make you a IV Jedi
  • What patient types are not IV friendly
  • How to keep IV complications to a minimum
  • Tips and tricks for the most difficult stick
  • Live Q&A and feedback from the field

If you are unable to attend the live presentation a video and audio recording, transcript, and other premium items will be available for purchase. Also visit EMSBootCamp.com for these archived sessions:
