Much like space shuttle launches my planned bike ride this morning from Central Wisconsin to Green Bay was scrubbed due to weather. This map from weather.com plots my approximate route through 100 miles of unending rain. Mission control is reviewing the calendar to find an alternate launch date for later this summer.
(Note: I have always been fascinated by the NASA use of the term “scrub” to refer to cancelled space shuttle launches).
