The Good Samaritan – the original EMT

Last Sunday David Konig wrote a nice post about the Good Samaritan – The Biblical Days of EMS.

I took this photo during my 2005 visit to Israel on a day spent sightseeing. This was a chapel on the road between Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. I was told it was the location where the Good Samaritan cared for the injured man. At the time of my visit the chapel was being restored and a series of tiled floors were being worked on.
