Left turns are one of the leading causes (if not the leading cause) of motor vehicle collisions. The Slate.com article features a Diverging Diamond in Missouri that I have driven through. At first I was a little confused, but by paying attention to the signs and signals I was able to easily determine my path through the intersection.
